Technical Architect

Role Summary
We are looking for a Technical Architect to define and own the solution architecture for Apollo's Med Mantra transition programme, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Define target solution architecture (microservices / cloud-native) across the programme
- Own technology selection and architecture standards across workstreams
- Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability)
- Define integration architecture across EMR, mobile, and third-party systems
- Provide architectural guidance and mentoring to Dev Leads and senior developers
- Ensure adherence to healthcare data compliance and audit requirements
Technical Skills Required
- Microservices architecture, API design
- Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS)
- .NET Core / C# and / or Java / Spring Boot
- PostgreSQL, data modeling and performance tuning
- Security architecture (authentication, authorization, data protection)
Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
- Healthcare / Hospital Information Systems (HIS / EMR)
- FHIR / HL7 standards
Experience Required
12–16 years in software engineering, including significant experience in solution architecture roles
Behavioural Competencies
- Strong architectural judgment and pragmatism
- Ability to influence without direct authority across teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication of technical concepts
- High ownership of platform-wide technical quality
