Application QA Engineer (Automation)

Role Summary

We are seeking a QA Engineer (Automation) to ensure high-quality delivery of Apollo's EMR systems, mobile applications, and enterprise APIs. The role focuses on automation scripting, framework development, and execution of automated test suites, in addition to manual validation across SIT, UAT, Preprod, and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Test Framework Development

  • Design and develop automation test frameworks from scratch or enhance existing frameworks
  • Create automation test scripts using Selenium / Playwright
  • Automate UI workflows, API testing flows, and regression test scenarios
  • Develop reusable and scalable automation components

Automation Test Suite Execution

  • Execute automation test suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline
  • Integrate tests into Azure DevOps / GitHub pipelines
  • Monitor execution results and generate automation reports

Manual Testing & Validation

  • Perform functional, integration, UAT, and regression testing
  • Validate across SIT, UAT, and Pre-production environments
  • Test web applications, mobile apps (Android/iOS), and APIs

Defect Management

  • Identify, track, and validate defects; perform re-testing and regression validation after fixes
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Ensure zero-defect leakage into Production

Technical Skills Required

Automation

  • Selenium (Java / C# / Python)
  • Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript preferred)

API & Integration Testing

  • Postman / REST API testing
  • API automation using Rest Assured / Playwright API testing

Database & Backend Validation

  • PostgreSQL / SQL querying, data validation and backend testing

Experience Required

3–8 years (min. 2+ years in automation testing)
