Engineering Manager
Digital / IT — Healthcare Applications • Full-time • Hyderabad • 10–15 years in software engineering, including 4+ years managing engineering teams
Role Summary
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one or more engineering pods (Dev Leads, Developers, and QA) delivering Apollo's Med Mantra transition programme, owning delivery outcomes, technical governance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Governance
- Own sprint and release planning across assigned pods; track delivery against commitments
- Enforce code quality, architecture, and security standards across teams
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations within owned scope
- Report delivery status and risks to the Delivery Lead / Program Manager
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor Dev Leads, Developers, and QA Engineers within the pod
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the team
- Foster Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the team
Technical Skills Required
- .NET Core / C# or Java / Spring Boot (working knowledge for technical reviews)
- Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
- Agile / Scrum delivery practices, JIRA / Azure DevOps
Experience Required
10–15 years in software engineering, including 4+ years managing engineering teams
